Do you think SXSW is a place for fashionable people?: It is, for sure. It's a lot of folks showing off their best looks for each other.

The baggy hip-hop couture style with loose clothing on top and short shorts on bottom. Also, everyone's wearing (streetwear brand) HUF socks, including me.

Do you think SXSW is a place for fashionable people?: There is absolutely a fashion zeitgeist taking place here Unique people interacting, all schooled in the art of personal adornment.

Pastels. Facial hair, clothing punctuated with colors like magenta, orange, or even chartreuse. Electric blue clothing, also.

Do you think SXSW is a place for fashionable people?: Both: Definitely! Fashion and individual style are big parts of this festival.
Have you noticed any recurring style trends this week?:
Audrey: Hats, if that's a trend. Jacqueline: There's a lot of grungy looks, too. Lots of boots and dresses paired together. It's like a modern update of that old Texan concept.

Sunglasses, double denim. I actually got my band all double denim for when we're on stage. Also, I like kilts. Just want that to be known. Ooh, and shoots! (We asked her what that was.) A shoot is when a guy wears a blazer or a suit jacket and shorts.

Have you noticed any recurring style trends this week?: There's a lot of people screenprinting T-shirts and calling themselves fashion companies out here. That's lame as hell.
